Q Track 4 days of "Normal" Eating Directions Complete and submit via Submit Assignment. 1. Choose a program to track your eating. We recommend MyFitnessPal (Links to an external site.), though you may use any program that can track your foods, nutrition, and can print out/copy a log to turn in here. You may need to create an account on these sites, but you do not need to PAY, the free tools on these sites are fine. 2. Record four (4) days of normal eating and generate detailed reports, broken down by day. Do not change your eating habits this week for this assignment. The goal is to capture what is "normal" for you, even if this is an unusual week. The following reports are REQUIRED for each day: • o Daily foods list and servings o Nutrient Intakes o Ideally, you'll find your Recommended Daily Allowances(RDA), too, but this is not required. 3. Directions for submitting assignment: When you are finished printing, you need to write a paragraph about whether their are flaws, or you are happy with what you see in your diet. Points you should address include calories, carbohydrates, proteins and fat intake, RDA values (optional). What can you do to address deficiencies or excess in your diet? • Nutrition Tracking Criteria Ratings Pts This criterion is linked to a Learning OutcomeFood log 8 to >7.0 pts Full Marks Recorded 4 days of food intake and complete macronutrient (protein, carbs, fat) breakdown 7 to >0.0 pts Tracking, incomplete Recorded less than 4 days of food consumption, or did not include macronutrient breakdown. After reviewing my report on my eating habits and nutritional intakes, I feel it is high time to improve my diet and include more nutrient-dense foods. It was somewhat surprising to learn how many calories I consume on a daily basis. My overall calorie consumption jumped high on some days and was ideal on others. The recommended daily calorie intake, on the other hand, is determined by metabolism and levels of physical activity. However, in order to establish a great balance with unhealthy meals, I preferably integrate foods that are high in nutrients.
